RIPENER EVALUATION RESULTS
Trial objective: To refine current drying-off recommendations for not-ripened and chemically-ripened crops cultivated on a 12-month early season cycle.
Ripener treatments: a) Moddus® + Fusilade Forte® combination (Mod+FF) treatment; b) Ethephon® + Fusilade Forte® combination (Eth+FF) treatment; c) Untreated (Control).
Drying-off treatments: Four drying-off durations based on total available water (TAW) content of the soil ranging from 0.5 x TAW (minimal drying-off) to 3 x TAW (severe drying-off).
Results summary:
RV yields of ripener treatments in the third ratoon crop of varieties N36 and N49 shown as the average across drying-off treatments (0.5 – 3 x TAW).
